Parallax Earring

A "parallax" is how the same object looks different from different angles. There is always a different way to look at the same thing, and perhaps make it prettier, more interesting. This earring began as a different piece. Somewhere in the making, it became this one, and it is one of my favorites. A beautiful accident, kept.

Sculpted by hand in wax, with a technique I developed outside traditional jewelry-making. 18k gold plated brass, white rhodium, gunmetal or sterling silver. Sold as a single earring, for the right or the left ear. It shows a slightly different face from every angle.
